The majority of the land on this ranch is comprised primarily of excellent cultivation totaling approximately 1,207 acres. Two small native pastures on two of the tracts are 50 and 60 acres in size and give cattle a dry grass area of grazing as well as offering some hunting as a bonus. In today’s agricultural world, efficiency and productivity is king and these quality farms can be very efficiently operated as they are all located in close proximity to each other. These farms are comprised of quality dirt which is excellent for growing winter wheat, cotton, canola, milo, sesame, or any other North Texas crop that does well in tighter soils. Soil types and the breakdown of acreage of soil types are shown on each tract on our MapRight program on the website. Some of the pictures of the subject tracts were taken of the farms immediately joining the tracts for reasons of showing the type of soil in other farming conditions. The current owners are successful NO-TILL farmers, but this ground may be easily farmed in a conventional till method as well.
