Located in Clay County just 6 miles North of Henrietta, Texas on FM 1197.
Terrain:
The Henrietta Ranch is a beautiful multiple use cattle and recreational property 6 miles North of Henrietta, Texas. The 367 acres has a prominent ridge running through the center of the property providing outstanding views of rural Clay County. Several nice, elevated points would be great for a potential new home build site. An excellent wet weather creek meanders along the base of the ridge and provides an excellent travel corridor for wildlife in the area. Multiple hardwoods such as hackberry and elm provide ample roosting areas for Rio Grande turkey along the creek. In addition to the creek, four livestock ponds provide plenty of water for livestock in each of the divided pastures. A beautiful spring fed lake is found secluded in the Northwest portion of the ranch. A nice fishing dock and outdoor pavilion with concrete flooring provides a great camping spot for enjoying an evening of catching bass, catfish, or perch that has been stocked in the lake. Henrietta Ranch has good to excellent perimeter fencing around the property along with interior fencing as well. To allow more efficient grazing, the ranch has been cross fenced into three separate pastures comprised of 269-, 56-, and 40-acre pasture tracts. The property also has a good road system which makes it easy to get to all areas of the ranch including a concrete low water crossing for added convenience. There are two historic hand dug cisterns on the West boundary and a newly drilled water well that is located near the property entrance with electrical service along FM 1197. Less than 2 hours from the DFW area and just minutes from town, the Henrietta Ranch offers beautiful vistas of the country with the convenience of town access!
