The Table Rock Ranch is a wonderful North Texas recreational ranch loaded with beautiful views, excellent hunting, plentiful outdoor activities, and offers a turn-key headquarters with a beautiful furnished Austin Stone Lodge that is perfect for entertaining guests or family time. Large elevation changes on Table Rock Ranch range in excess of 130 feet, with many vantage points offering towering views of the valleys and grassy flats below. In addition to all the hunting and recreational activities, the owner current has 55 cow/calf pairs on the ranch and you cannot even tell they have been there. Cedar and mesquite primarily cover the hillsides and rougher terrain of the property, while the rolling cleared areas and bottom land draws have thick mixed grasses growing throughout.
The owner has been managing the ranch by selectively clearing certain areas of the ranch to enable more grass to grow and provide a better source of food for all sorts of wildlife. Table Rock Ranch is very well watered with four ponds, a playa lake, and a large concrete trough. Several wet weather creeks are also found on the ranch and they hold pools of water in the wetter months of the year. Three of the ponds would be excellent to stock with fish and they are all frequently visited by wildlife and provide a source for livestock. An excellent interior road system makes travelling the entire ranch by vehicle possible and some of the most common used roads have graveled providing easy wet weather access.
Table Rock Lodge is located several hundred yards off the main county at the end of a gravel road on a hill and is very private. Views are fabulous from the lodge and headquarters area of the large pond and massive plateaus in the distance. From several high points on the ranch it is common to view wildlife grazing the food plots and grass land below.
