The B-Long is an excellent turn-key recreational ranch that has a lot to offer including outdoor recreation, great hunting, and farmland income. The layout of the ranch allows the native pasture area and creek area to be kept very private. The seasonal creek meanders through the ranch providing pools of water for wildlife and is lined with hardwood trees and hackberry motts. Turkey roost in these hardwoods and the thick hackberry and mesquite provide excellent cover for deer and hogs. The heavy mesquite brush that lines the cultivated fields provide excellent cover for hunting and there are also several open grassy flats which provide good grazing for livestock. This ranch has very little hunting pressure around it and it is common to see large numbers of wildlife on the field fields of the ranch as well as trophy deer. The B-Long Ranch is very unique because of the different terrain and because of its diversification, it holds large numbers of deer, turkey, wild hogs, and dove. It is not uncommon to travel the ranch and see large numbers of deer, turkey, quail, and hogs within minutes of each other.
