This Wichita County River Ranch is a premier hunting ranch with wonderful views, super thick brush, lots of elevation change, rugged terrain, and tons of wildlife! The ranch has so much natural beauty with minimal roads cut through the heart of the tract to give wildlife a sanctuary area and as little disturbances as possible. The ranch is very private with no public road exposure which means no noise from traffic or people driving by viewing wildlife or trespassing. The short easement road to the main access point is an all weather road and never a problem getting in. Near the entrance to the ranch, there is electricity and a water well is place. This would make a great camp area for buildings or an RV since it is away from the prime hunting areas of the property. As you travel North toward the Red River, there are huge bluffs loaded with large hackberry, lots of hardwoods, and groves of mesquite. The ranch has multiple "flat" areas up top which are very thick with all sorts of underbrush and vegetation. Toward the Red River, the valleys draws between the several large bluffs are full of larger timber and are ideal for bow hunting setups and turkey roosts. Lots of wildlife bed in the thick grassy areas in the Red River sandy bottomland and travel South up through these draws and flats to feed on the food plots near the southern end of the property. With all the elevation and the layout of the super thick brush and vegetation, this ranch hunts very big and has plenty of room for several hunters without disturbing each other. The current owner has been very selective in harvesting wildlife the last few years and has kept plenty of feed and nutrients out to help manage game on the ranch. Several small food plots have been tilled in the lower river bottom areas of the ranch and are utilized primarily for bow hunting. This great river property is located a little over two hours from the metroplex and has tons to offer the hunter and outdoorsman!!
